Copywriting - does it never stop?

It’s been another crazy few weeks, not least because of the amount of travelling I’m doing at the moment. I was in the midlands a couple of weeks ago and I’m over there again later this week, then right after Christmas it’s down to London to catch up with some clients there.

Workwise, I’ve got quite a few projects running. Once again I’m involved in the marketing of this technology (which I’m not going to name here because it screws up the Google ranking). Since the deal with Sony went through more and more developers are showing an interest, and the advertising and sales strategies are having to be upgraded accordingly. I’m also involved with a big marketing push for www.metavize.com, which I’ll talk about some more in a future post.

I’ve also been doing a load more financial stuff for Barclays. This can get tricky after a while, as there are only so many ways you can pitch a financial product. Once you’ve run the gamut of animated squirrels, steam trains and pirate ships you can find yourself scraping around for ideas. Luckily I got a good grounding in this sort of thing during my first big financial ad project, Intelli-Timer, so stuff usually seems to work out OK in the end.

If you need any work doing, give me a call or drop me an email. I’m working as normal over the next few weeks, though with the amount of travelling I have to do my “office” may be a corner table in a Starbucks somewhere. WiFi, coffee and cake: that’s what I call a great innovation
