I've spent a huge amount of time working on BusinessClub365.com over the past year. BC365 is part
of Avanta Enterprises, the UK's leading independent provider of small business training. The whole project has been masterminded
by Mike Pywell (who, as you may know, was my co-author on the Which? Working for Yourself project.)
Mike has done a great job on BusinessClub365. The guys at our CMS provider, Sitekit, have expressed amazement that such a complex website has been put together by a single project leader, a couple of staff and a small team of freelancers. Sites of this size are usually run by an editorial and management team of dozens of people. I've done most (but not all) of the copywriting for the site and written most (but not all) of the articles. As well as offering advice to would-be entrepreneurs and existing business owners who want to expand their operations, BC365 offers a great-value membership scheme that gives users access to massive discounts on a range of business products and services. As of November 2007, the site is still in public beta while we iron out glitches. I'm confident that when everything is finally complete, BusinessClub365.com will become the market-leading site for small business advice in the UK. Mike's verdict on my work:

he's proved a very able strategist and an excellent and conscientious co-ordinator of the other freelancers on the
